'' As can be understood from the title, the work conducted in quintet by the guitarist and singer Giorgio Rossini refers to the songbook by Francesco Guccini, specially arranged in a jazz key. The solutions designed by the leader enhance the melodic lines of the eight pieces taken into consideration, in a varied tonal setting, which also includes piano, tenor, drums and double bass. In the booklet we find, in addition to the reasons that pushed Rossini towards this repertoire, the compliments made by Guccini for the work done.
