ABOUT YEATS

Giorgio Rossini
TRJ Records 2014

"About Yeats" is a jazz reinterpretation of some texts by William Butler Yeats (1865-1939) set to music by Giorgio Rossini.

The language of the Irish poet, suggestive and full of charm, is permeated by a significant timbre-literary richness, as well as by a great musicality in the formal construction.

The texts were chosen drawing from the youthful lines still full of charm and beauty, and from some poems of maturity, full of vital force and sensuality, but also of restlessness.
